On 14th October 2024 Google Ireland will launch its new GenAI educational offering for teens and educators. This will include ADAPT’s ‘AI Literacy in the Classroom’ training for post-primary teachers, supported by Google.

AI has the potential to change our world in amazing ways, and we need to make sure everyone benefits. As young people use AI more and more, it’s important they learn how to use this new technology in a safe and responsible way.

AI Literacy in the Classroom will equip teachers to start a journey of exploration with their students that helps them acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to understand, evaluate, and use AI systems and tools safely and ethically.
